About us

 This project began with exchange of ideas between Prisca and Vittoria, two friends and architects who have been collaborating under the name of Melita studio for urban design projects with the focus of social interaction. Prisca and Vittoria started this initiative during the first lockdown in 2020 due to the fact that their hometown Bergamo (Italy) has been one of the most affected places in Italy and the world by Covid-19. We hope that this project will focus the attention on small daily gestures that we are rediscovering and on objects that we are re-evaluating or re-interpreting. We also hope with this projects to emphasise the importance of the relation been human - object - space and the value of our homes and objects.

[IT] Questo progetto è iniziato con lo scambio di idee tra Prisca e Vittoria, due amiche e architetti che collaborano sotto il nome di Melita Studio per progetti di design urbano con il focus dell'interazione sociale. Prisca e Vittoria hanno avviato questa iniziativa durante il primo periodo di isolamento sociale nel 2020 per supportare la loro città natale Bergamo (Italia). Speriamo con questo progetto di focalizzare l’attenzione sui piccoli gesti quotidiani che stiamo riscoprendo e oggetti che stiamo rivalutando. Inoltre speriamo che questo progetto enfatizzi l’importanza della relazione tra l’uomo - l’oggetto - lo spazio e il valore delle nostre case e degli oggetti in essa.
