Ciotola - Bowl

L’Oggetto Socievole selezionato è un’oggetto fatto a mano ed è una ciotola di pietra ollare. La ciotola  è stato realizzata da Paolo Arosio un artigiano autodidatta che esplora l’arte antica dell’artigianato usando solo coltelli, scalpelli e sgorbie per creare oggetti in legno e in pietra. Gli oggetti di Paolo son frutto di una continua sperimentazione sia a livello di materiale che di forme cosicché ogni pezzo e scultura diventa unica nel suo genere.

The selected Oggetto Socievoli (Sociable Object) is a handmade object and it’s a soapstone bowl. The bowl was made by Paolo Arosio, a self-taught craftsman who explores the ancient art of craftsmanship by using only knives, chisels and gouges to create objects in wood and stone. Paolo's objects are the result of continuous experimentation both in terms of material and shapes so that each piece and sculpture becomes unique in its kind.
