L’Oggetto Socievole selezionato è un’oggetto fatto a mano ed è un vaso di ceramica rosso. Il vaso è stato realizzato da Giulio Bertino, fondatore di Lio Ceramics. I lavori di Giulio sono ispirati al design moderno e minimalista ed esprimono l’eleganza della semplicità. I suo vasi son frutto di una continua sperimentazione, di forme e di colore. Ogni vaso tornito e smaltato, riflette questo percorso tortuoso che continua a deviare verso nuovi stimoli. Cambiando di poco la composizione degli smalti o la tipologia dell’argilla ottiene effetti cromatici completamente diversi dando unicità ad ogni singolo pezzo.

2. Dopo aver fatto essiccare l’oggetto, il vaso va messo in prima cottura a 900-920 gradi. Nella foto si può vedere il vaso dopo la ‘prima cottura’.

The selected Oggetto Socievoli (Sociable Object) is a handmade object and is a red ceramic vase. The vase was made by Giulio Bertino, founder of Lio Ceramics. Giulio's works are inspired by modern and minimalist design and express the elegance of simplicity. Its vases are the result of continuous experimentation, of shapes and colors. Each turned and glazed vase reflects this tortuous path that continues to deviate towards new stimuli. By slightly changing the composition of the glazes or the type of clay, it obtains completely different chromatic effects giving uniqueness to each single piece.

1. In this photo you can see the modelling of the pot on the ceramic lathe.
2. After having dried the object, the pot should be put in the porcelain first firing at 900-920 degrees. In the photo you can see the pot after the ‘first cooking’.
